What is “Reproductive Trauma”?
All of these are very different experiences, yet they all have common themes, including: Feeling disconnected from your body. A feeling of betrayal to your body. Desperate to forgive yourself. Questioning, “Did I ask for this?” Feeling as though medical providers weren’t taking you seriously and dismissing your concerns. You want to stop thinking about it, but it the memories are intruding into your daily life. The feelings of uneasiness and “on edge” are always lingering. You’re exhausted from being in survival mode every day.
I want to help you go from surviving to thriving.
We will do that by rediscovering the strength already in you and adding tangible coping skills to help you feel safe in your body. We will address the core beliefs developed from these overwhelming events and begin to form new beliefs about yourself and the world.
